Set when you use the playback control, to remember the preference you requested for this tab.
Assessment
Never transmitted; the sound choice is deliberately not stored at all, so sound is off on every fresh load.

Purpose
Records that you have seen this notice and, if optional technologies are ever added, which ones you accepted or rejected.
Data
The notice version, the date of your choice and a yes/no per optional category. No identifier.
Starts
When you press OK or Save choices; closing the settings view records nothing.
Duration
Until you clear your browser data; a record made under an earlier version of this notice is ignored and replaced when you choose again. The inventory is reviewed at every release and at least every six months.
Consent
Not required: it exists only to respect your choice. It is never used to recognise you or for advertising.
Assessment
Minimal record; readable only by this site in this browser.
Enquiry security check

Purpose
Helps protect the project enquiry form from automated submissions and abuse.
Data
Technical signals from your browser and device, including your IP address, used by the security provider to assess the request and issue a verification token.
Starts
When you reach the final step of the enquiry form and verification is configured for this build.
Duration
A short-lived, single-use verification token. Any storage and signal retention by the security provider are described in its privacy notice, linked from our Privacy Notice.
Consent
Used to protect the enquiry service from automated abuse, not by us for marketing. This is separate from consent for optional tracking.
Assessment
Limited to the enquiry flow. The deployed widget settings and storage behaviour must be verified before launch.
Hosting access logs

Purpose
Serving the pages and media, keeping the service secure and diagnosing faults.
Data
Connection and request details such as IP address, requested page, time and browser information, subject to the service configuration.
Starts
When the hosting service processes a request to the site.
Duration
Held under the hosting service’s operational retention settings. These settings must be confirmed before launch.
Consent
Used to deliver and protect the website; not for advertising or visitor analytics.
Assessment
Operational logging is separate from browser storage and cookie preferences.
Project enquiry service

Purpose
Receiving, storing and passing your project enquiry to our team.
Data
What you enter in the form, the time, a one-way hash of your IP address (abuse limiting) and event logs that contain only reference numbers, never your answers.
Starts
Only when you send an enquiry.
Duration
Our policy is twelve calendar months for unconverted enquiries and thirty days for spam, including notification copies. See the Privacy Notice for the separate database and mailbox processes.
Consent
Your separate enquiry-contact permission on the form; cookie choices do not affect it.
Assessment
No browser storage is involved; nothing is shared for marketing.
Optional
None. The site uses no analytics, advertising, pixels, tags, embedded media or external fonts. If an optional technology is ever added, it will be listed here and stay switched off until you accept it.
You can reopen the notice from “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. If optional technologies are ever added, they will appear there switched off, and you will be able to accept, reject or withdraw at any time.
